Also depicts the anatomy and functions of the trachea, bronchi and bronchioles. The final graphic shows gas exchange within an alveolus, the thin-walled sac of the terminal bronchioles. Oxygen and carbon dioxide are seen moving to and from the pulmonary capillaries.
